Join Learning Essentials and Power UP by Learning Essentials for a fun, informative and interactive morning.
Learning disabilities and chronic illness are often hidden in the classroom—but they are there, impacting school performance, including reduced attention and concentration, poor motivation, resistance to school assignments and absence issues. The challenges that these conditions pose to our children affect them on a daily basis, both in and out of school.
Learning Essentials has teamed up with Power UP by Learning Essentials to offer a simulation workshop that helps educators and medical professionals to feel what it is like to have dyslexia, auditory & visual processing problems, attention challenges, traumatic brain injury and more.
Through a series of interactive activities, participants gain insights into what these children experience every day - and learn strategies to help them thrive.
Walk a Mile in the shoes of students with learning or chronic medical needs. Let Learning Essentials and Power UP help you become a better guide for these students as they find their footing and reach their academic peak!
