National Geographic Traveler contributing editor and award-winning writer Carl Hoffman retraced Rockefeller’s journey to search for clues to the 1961 disappearance. In a real-life detective story, chronicled for his book Savage Harvest, Hoffman uncovered hundreds of pages of never-before-seen documents, interviewed now-elderly witnesses, and even lived for several months among the Asmat tribespeople in a search for the real story. In conversation with Traveler editor-at-large Don George, he’ll share the surprising answers he uncovered.

Book sale and signing to follow. Co-presented with National Geographic Traveler.
