The Washington International Horse Show invites young riders, barn mates and horse lovers to Barn Night 2016 with new exhibition: Dally & Spanky!

Presented by Dover Saddlery and with generous support from the Peterson Family Foundation and National Harbor, the Washington International Horse Show Barn Night is one of the most anticipated events of the show, with activities and special events for horse-enthusiasts of all ages.  Guests can participate in scavenger hunts, t-shirt tosses, equestrian stars autograph signings and more. Group contests will include prizes, reserves and honorable mentions for Best Barn Spirit, Best Video, Best Banner and Largest Group. Prizes include a $5,000 shopping spree at Dover Saddlery, a riding clinic with top show jumper Callan Solem, who was short listed for the Rio 2016 Olympics, a set of Custom Stable Drapes from Dover Saddlery, as well as a Custom Golf Cart from United Metro Golf Cart.  Guests can watch the adorable and incredibly entertaining WIHS Shetland Pony Steeplechase Championship Series presented by Charles Owen, where jockeys ages 7-14 race these smaller ponies over mini-hurdles! Additionally, coming in from Hunters, Washington: Dally & Spanky will perform a true dog and pony show, complete with tricks and liberty routines. Finally, with Halloween in the air, top show jumpers will compete in funny, scary and exotic costumes in the $35,000 International Jumper Accumulator Costume Class!
