The Journey School is a small, independent Montessori school for grades 1 - 8 located on 60 acres in Spencerville, Maryland, close to Silver Spring, Burtonsville, Columbia, Fulton, Laurel, Bowie, and Clarksville. Our lower school is grades 1 - 6 and our upper school is middle school grades 6 - 8.

The Journey School, a Montessori school, is looking for students in grades 1 - 8 who like to work outdoors, care for animals, gardening, beekeeping, interested in creating a small business, are motivated and independent thinkers and learners. We are located on 60+ acres and have chickens, goats, gardens, and highly trained and experienced staff. We will have an open house on Saturday, April 6 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
