Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, Wilson studied with Jimmy Owens before spending many nights playing at jam sessions at the Village Door, Village Gate, Blue Note, Visiones, Smalls, and other NYC clubs.
In addition to composing and touring, Thad currently teaches Jazz Studies at George Washington University. This is your chance to catch Thad up close right here in Brentwood, MD.
