Strike Out Slavery is advancing its mission of educating baseball fans about modern-day slavery by partnering with the Washington Nationals and pitcher Stephen Strasburg to host an awareness festival before the August 23, 2018 game, and a postgame concert featuring Nick Jonas. The day will kickoff with a pregame awareness festival open to all ticket holders. Fans can engage with local and national organizations who are on the front lines of fighting against human trafficking, pick up important safety information, and participate in family-friendly activities and giveaways. The Washington Nationals are excited to partner with Strike out Slavery to offer specially priced tickets, including $10 of each ticket sold donated back to Strike Out Slavery! All fans purchasing through this link will get a wristband to watch the after-game concert featuring multi platinum and Grammy-nominated recording artist Nick Jonas from the field. Information on wristband distribution will be communicated to all purchasers in August.
Albert and Deidre Pujols created Strike Out Slavery in 2017 to raise awareness about the existence of modern slavery. Strike Out Slavery was created to spread awareness about modern slavery and help an international network of nonprofit organizations rally against it.
