Join us for an evening of Irish music, cinema, and poetry. Our live show beginning at 6:00pm will feature Michael Brunnock, who was cast in the uplifting film "This Must Be the Place," starring Sean Penn. Brunnock has collaborated with acclaimed Irish playwright Deirdre Kinahan (Solas Nua: Wild Sky and The Frederick Douglass Project), on a new musical project called Ettie, a reimagining of the story of Ettie Steinberg, one of the very few Irish citizens to die in the Holocaust. He is currently finishing a song cycle based on poetry and letters by Sir Roger Casement.
During his solo show, Michael will bring music old and new from Ireland, sharing family songs and stories handed down with a natural wit and sincerity.
