Hi everyone—I'm Anna Banyai, a Spanish teacher based in NW DC with over 19 years of experience teaching both native and non-native speakers, and a Wood Acres parent. This May, I’m offering small-group Spanish Language Workshops for children ages 8–12 at Glen Echo Town Hall (Sundays: May 3, 10, 17, and 31, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM; no session Memorial Day weekend; limited to 10 students). The workshops are designed to get kids speaking Spanish through storytelling, games, and interactive activities. Children are natural language learners and acquire language best in meaningful, engaging contexts. These sessions are built to do exactly that, using high-frequency language in ways that help it truly stick. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like more information or to register!
