This will be an open house for any girl (accompanied by an adult) wishing to learn about Scouts BSA Troop 248 for Girls, which meets twice each month on Saturday mornings at All Souls Episcopal Church in the District.  The church is located just west of the intersection of Cathedral and Connecticut Avenues, close to the Woodley Park Metro station.  The Troop has 38 girl members, a 9-person Scoutmaster Staff and 19-member adult support committee.  The Open House and all of our meetings will be outside this fall and socially distanced, so please bring masks and gloves (we will have extras if you forget yours).  Our Troop physician and a panel of four physician-parents review our program and establish our protective measures.  Troop membership will require a COVID test and daily reporting of temperature to be maintained on our meeting/event attendance eligibility list.  We are a girl-led organization and follow the program formerly known as "Boy Scouts".
