Salute the military at the 5th annual Military Night at the Washington International Horse Show!

Join the Washington International Horse Show for its annual Military Night, presented by the Boeing Company. The events, competition and exhibitions on this evening are about speed and power as the WIHS honors the U.S. Armed Forces. Events include the $50,000 GE Speed Final, a high-test race over a challenging course with jumps close to five feet. Guests can also observe the heart-stopping $25,000 International Jumper Puissance presented by the Boeing Company, where riders jump the “growing” great wall until only one contender remains without knocking it. This WIHS is one of the few shows in the US to offer this class. The record to beat is 7’7-1/2,” set at Washington in 1983. Other exhibitions will include an Army v. Navy Celebrity Barrel Racing Competition presented by Washington Area Chevy Dealers and the Mounted Color Guard. Other events include a trophy presented in honor of the Armed Forces, recognition and support for our longstanding Official Military Charity Partner, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and the Armed Forces Reception, which benefits TAPS. Finally, the Klinger Perpetual Award for Honor and Service presented by Ariat International and EQUUS Foundation will be awarded.
