Gaithersburg Arts on the Green presents Sergei Prokofiev's masterpiece for children, played by the Catholic University of American Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Simeone Tartglione. Tickets are $12 and all ages are welcome to hear this delightful piece in the intimate 99-seat Arts Barn.

Treat your family to the most successful orchestral composition for children ever written. Prokofiev’s masterpiece is performed by the 22-piece Catholic University of America Chamber Orchestra. A narrator introduces the characters and instruments and tells the story. Stay to meet the musicians at an “instrument petting zoo.” Parking is free and plentiful. Walk to Main Street for a snack and then to the charming Arts Barn.
