The largest kid-friendly (and free!) New Year's Eve festival in DC – Noon Yards Eve – is returning to The Yards for its fifth year, transforming Yards Park into a holiday wonderland with interactive activities for children and adults on December 31. There will be a celebratory countdown and balloon drop at noon to ring in the new year for families and kids of all ages. Activities will include train rides through Yards Park, inflatable moon bounces and games, crafting stations, glitter tattoo artists and more.
