Kirsten has a background in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy and is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. After graduating from Graduate School at Lesley University in 2006, she started working as a school counselor until the birth of her first son in 2011. Kirsten decided to stay at home to care for her son and then the following year her second son was born. Because of the help and support she received from her birth and postpartum doulas, Kirsten was inspired to begin her own certification as a postpartum doula. She also has become a Certified Lactation Counselor through Childbirth International. Kirsten believes in providing empowering, empathetic and client-focused support in order to ease the transition into parenthood.
