Music Together® at Concord Hill School

Music Together® is a music and movement approach to early childhood music development for children and their caregivers. Established in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. The Music Together® approach develops each child's basic music competence by encouraging the actual experiencing of music rather than the learning of concepts about music. Children can develop the ability to sing in tune and physically keep a beat most easily in the birth-to-preschool years. Music Together® harnesses their love of play in each class, giving each child the freedom to explore, move, play, and observe.
