Jane Austen Tea

Sunday, September 20th 1 - 3 p.m. Enjoy one of the Regency Era’s favorite past times – afternoon tea! You are cordially invited to join Mrs. Bennett for a spirited discussion of Austen's works and enjoy a lively period appropriate tea while learning the history of taking tea in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This afternoon tea is complete with tea sandwiches, scones, and assorted desserts. Arrive early to tour the historical Federal period house museum. ______________________________________________________ Attire is casual. Please contact us in advance if you have a food allergy or dietary restriction. Seating is assigned. Please let us know if you'd like to be seated with someone or if you have a group. Tables seat between 8-10. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
