Have you ever just wanted to just bang your stress away? Whether it’s a big test, a meeting or a deadline, we all have stress. Join The Alden and master artist Kofi Dennis for an introduction to djembe drumming skills and improvisation. Included in this class is a chance to put your new skills to the test playing as a group in a community drum circle. This class is designed for children age eight and older and it is recommended that families participate together. Advance registration is required.
8+ years
1 lesson @ 1.5 hrs, $15/$10 MCC district residents; $7 each additional person/$5 MCC district residents. Fee includes admission and drum rental for the event.
