professional skills used by architects and engineers. Design earthquake-ready buildings, discover the art of architectural drawing, and more.

The National Building Museum invites individual families to register for the Museum’s Homeschool Day on Thursday, November 20, 2014.
Morning Programs
My House, My Home, 4-6 year olds, 10:30 am-12 noon
Architecture 101, 7-9 year olds, 10 am-12 noon
Designing for Disaster, 10-14 year olds, 10 am-12 noon
Afternoon Programs
Build a Green Roof, 4-6 year olds, 1-2:30 pm
Designing for the Desert, 7-9 year olds, 1-3 pm
Fuller’s Fantastic Geodesic Dome, 10-14 year olds, 1-3 pm
$10 per child per program. Discounted admission to Museum exhibitions available. Ages 4–14.
You must register for each program separately. Pre-registration is required by the end of the day on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Walk-in registration will be available for any programs not filled during pre-registration.
