The Georgetown Sweets Tour is taking place on Saturday, June 25th (rescheduled from May 14th) as a way for DC-area residents and visitors to discover neighborhood bakeries and independent retailers. Each tour-goer will visit 12 retail locations to pick up a different sweet prepared by a Georgetown bakery. That’s 12 sweets to take home by the end of the tour – if you don’t eat them along the way, of course! The Sweets Tour is hosted by Georgetown Main Street, a nonprofit working to strengthen local small businesses through community engagement, promotional events, and technical training and resources.
