Hi friends,
Join Washington Youth Garden for 6th annual Garlic Planting Party. On October 21st from 10am - 1 pm come by the garden from a delicious potluck, garden games and crafts, music provided by DJ Crystal and destroy a garden piñata. Bring friends and family to help us plant next year’s garlic harvest! This event is free and fun. This event is FREE but registration is required. Register HERE.
More about the Washington Youth Garden (WYG): Founded in 1971, the Washington Youth Garden (located at the U.S. National Arboretum) provides a unique, year-round environmental science and food education program for D.C. youth and their families. Using the garden and Arboretum as a living classroom, the program teaches participants to explore their relationships with food and the natural world.
