This free, one-of-a-kind event will bring together DC families with area nonprofits, authors and illustrators, and literacy experts, all in celebration of literacy, leadership, and lifelong learning. Throughout the day, our program will feature motivational TED-style talks, group workshops, exhibitions, giveaways, kid-friendly activities, and more. Sponsored by the Junior League of Washington

This year, the Junior League of Washington (JLW), one of DC’s leading women’s service and leadership organizations, is celebrating its 20th anniversary of focusing our volunteer and financial resources on combating illiteracy in Washington, DC.
