Proceeds from the #FightingChance 8k will benefit 25:40. 25:40 works to ensure orphaned and vulnerable children have a fighting chance to survive poverty, disease and violence. 25:40 is a nonprofit organization founded in 2003, dedicated to helping communities empower orphaned and vulnerable children in the often overlooked rural areas of southern Africa. 25:40’s collaborative program model provides a framework of entrusting communities to save their children and was designed to be easily replicated in other rural areas of southern Africa. 25:40 does not simply provide financial resources, but provides hard and soft skills to encourage the community to develop and invest in their own resources to become economically self-sufficient.
