Father's Day Events at the Park View Farmers Market

The event kicks off at 10:30am with Corinne Zmoos, the Singer-Songwriter SLP, for a goofy & joyful singalong for kids. Catch all of your favorite nursery rhymes and kids tunes backed by the power of speech and language science! Then, from 11-1pm at the market, all dads will get their choice of a free scoop of ice cream from local ice cream shop, Here's the Scoop, or a delicious chocolate chip cookie from local vegan baker (and Howard student!) Baked by Chanice while supplies last. Pair the ice cream with RavenHook's delicious Rhubarb Mint Crisp for an even more decadent dessert. Seating will be available for folks to hangout and grab a drink or a bite to eat. Or you can try your hand at lifesize jenga, corn hole, and connect 4! As always, we are located inside Hook Hall at 3400 Georgia Ave NW. The market is open from 10 am - 2 pm on Sundays, so feel free to stop by and visit our other amazing local vendors while you’re here -- we have a wide selection of produce, hot foods, and more.
