Family Garden Day at the Washington Youth Garden

The next Family Garden Day is this Saturday! Join us at the Washington Youth Garden in the US National Arboretum on August 9th from 10:00am-12:30pm for our Family Garden Day! More about the Washington Youth Garden (WYG): Founded in 1971, the Washington Youth Garden (located at the U.S. National Arboretum) provides a unique, year-round environmental science and food education program for D.C. youth and their families. She is a speaker, nutrition justice advocate, and consultant. Tambra received her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition/premedical sciences and a Spanish minor from Oklahoma State University. She completed her dietetic internship with Dominican University and has a Master’s degree in Health Communication from Tufts University School of medicine/Emerson College Joint Program.
