Join President Lincoln's Cottage for its annual Family Day on Saturday, September 10th, inspired by the time Lincoln and his family spent on the grounds. This event is FREE and open to the public. Come and enjoy a variety of activities (Petworth Library will have a storybook corner), crafts (make your own Lincoln's Hat, family tree, and cards for Veterans), games, live music (military band), play at the Petting Zoo (ride a pony, chase the peacocks, and play with animals at a petting zoo with Tad Lincoln’s favorite pets), enjoy delicious food from our on-site vendors, or pack your own picnic and enjoy lunch at the picnic tables, and more!
