Events DC Cherry Blast! kicks off the final weekend of the National Cherry Blossom Festival on Friday, April 14 from 7-11pm at Dock 5 at Union Market with a Japanese Night Market celebration. The festival will feature street food by DC's most renowned chefs, curated by Maketto's Erik Bruner-Yang, as well as live music by DJ Mel, sumo wrestling, an artisan market, an e-sports gaming lounge and cherry blossom-themed social media activations. All inclusive tickets are $69 and include unlimited tastings of traditional Japanese street food and an open bar. For $89 guests will also receive an exclusive commemorative t-shirt.
