Topic: What does being independent mean to you?
Directions:
In a clear, organized, and compelling essay, discuss what independence means to you. In what ways are you independent? In which areas would you like to become more independent? Being independent can look like brushing your teeth on your own, doing your chores without help, doing homework yourself, making decisions on your own, and/or relying on yourself to solve a problem. Finally, discuss whether independence is important to you and explain why.
