Single-Session Workshops

Returning to our Weekend Workshop series is Drag Storytime! In this caregiver and child workshop, you and your little one will get to explore a story with music, movement, and dramatic play. Each session ends with a take-home craft based on the story of the day. These workshops are led by a local Drag Artist, Mama Naytch, and feature stories for our youngest learners about loving who you are and being yourself.

About Mama Naytch:

Local Drag Artist - Mama Shirley Naytch is also known as Justin Schmitz, a frequent sound designer here at Imagination Stage, and as a very popular drag artist here in the Washington DC area, as well as in multiple places across the country! Mama Naytch loves to celebrate all of the best parts of life including education, gender expression, everything fabulous and shiny, and spending as much time as she can reading all of her favorite books to children across the country.
