Fortunately, the DC metro region has an abundance of resources and service providers to help make pregnancy, birth and early parenting the smoothest, most meaningful and healthiest experience it can be. At the DC BIrth and Babies Fair you can connect with and learn from these resources more easily- whether you are expecting, already have a baby or just want more information. Each exhibit and program is specially designed to meet the needs of first-time and veteran parents during this amazing and sometimes challenging time. Exhibit Floor From babywearing experts, photographers and babysitters to lactation consultants, health coaches, midwives and doulas (birth and postpartum), our exhibitors offer the best services and products gathered for your convenience. Classes and Drop-In Clinics Not sure what babywearing experts or lactation consultants or midwives or doulas even are? Or maybe you know some about them, but want to learn more. Each of our 13 scheduled classes offer families concrete, take away skills. Or perhaps you want to connect with our birth and babies's experts personally at our hourly drop-in clinics. Each clinic presents an expert in a different field as well as complimentary comfort and wellness sessions (that is, free massage!) Check out our incredible line-up of classes and drop-in clinics. Goody Bags and Raffle Everyone loves free things, especially these great products and services from national and local businesses. Families receive reusable Goody Bags upon check in at the registration with products, discounts and information worth the cost of admission (as supplies last.) Everyone needs to check out the raffle as well, featuring over 20 items including photography packages, massage and more. A list of items should be posted soon.
