A good marriage, like a good ship, takes us where we want to go in this life journey, through storms and dark clouds, fair skies and warm sea breezes.

Keeping your marriage seaworthy takes care and maintenance, it is part of the journey.

Gottman Facilitators and Couples Therapists Kathleen Landers LCSW-C and Gabriel Chernoff LCSW-C invite committed partners to join this one day, in-person event, and learn the wisdom of the Award winning Gottman Institute, where research on relationships has been honed into day to day useable techniques to help couples restore and heal from conflicts and emotional distance so they may recover the connection, hope and joy that brought them together.

Learn what actions you can change to help your partner stay connected with you. Regain a life with your best friend by your side, helping each others dreams come true, together.

Click on the URL link to be taken to the event registration site for directions, fees etc. The event is being offered in person in Silver Spring Maryland on Saturday October 5th through the Sequence Institute, a division of Sequence Counseling and Consulting Services (www.sequenceservices.com/home/counseling-services/couples/). We have been offered this one day workshop throughout the year since 2018. Future dates are in January and April of 2025.

  • Learn through fun and dynamic lecture and video
  • Practice concepts with your partner in a private space ( no public sharing of personal issues)
  • Small intimate setting, with refreshments offered and walking distance to great restaurants
  • All participants receive the Gottman Book "Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" along with a workbook of exercises and other tools to support connection.

We hope you can join us, and bring home wisdom to support your most precious connection.
