The Arlington Artists Alliance is hosting their annual ArtFest at the Hendry House at Fort C.F. Smith Park in Arlington, VA Mar 16-23. Included in this is a Civil War "Treasure Hunt" at 1:30 PM on Sunday March 18. Elementary school-aged children accompanied by an adult will search for answers to historical Civil War questions about Arlington, Fort C.F. Smith and Washington DC. Clues are found on the grounds of the Fort C.F. Smith property. A "treasure" will be provided to successful participants, along with refreshments. Meet at the front door of Hendry House (2411 N. 24th Street, Arlington, VA 22207). To register, email parkerhdts@msn.com. Free; $1 refreshment donation suggested.
