Join the all-natural gourmet burger franchise for free food, giveaways, kids activities and more beginning Friday, November 11th - Sunday, November 13th.
BurgerFi’s newest location at 111 N. Pitt Street, Old Town Alexandria, will host an official public grand opening weekend with free food, giveaways, family-friendly activities and more.
An official ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Allison Silberberg kicks off the weekend on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11th at 12:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy “Fry day Friday” and receive a free fry with the purchase of a burger or dog throughout the day (11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m).
Opening at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12th, the first 100 guests in line will receive a free BurgerFi cheeseburger and be entered to win lift tickets to Ski Liberty, Roundtop and Whitetail. 94.7 Fresh FM’s Tommy McFly from the Tommy Show will broadcast live from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Additional family-friendly activities will include a red carpet photo booth (11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) face painting (12-2:00 p.m.) and balloon twisting (4-6:00 p.m.). A portion of proceeds will benefit A Wide Circle, working to end poverty and help ensure that every child and adult has the chance to succeed and the opportunity to live well.
Sunday, November 13th, is “Sundae Sunday” as guests receive a free custard cup with the purchase of a burger or dog throughout the day (11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m).
