“In Curators’ Selects, three representatives of the Athenaeum Gallery selected five artists they had not been familiar with prior to visiting Artomatic. (Artomatic is a regional art exhibition open to everyone. It is an un-curated community-building experience. Many established artists participate as do many emerging artists. 2024’s Artomatic, held this Spring in Washington, DC featured over 800 artists.) This exhibition will feature the work of these artists and explain the perspectives of each of the curators and why they felt the works merited wider recognition.” The Athenaeum
Jane Franklin Dance activates the exhibit and responds to visual art by Jenny Ganzler, choreography by Kelsey Rohr; Louis Del Valle, choreography by Kevin White; Rita Elsner, choreography by Jane Franklin and Christiane Tribastone, choreography by Ryan Carlough -

Michala Conroy’s HumANIMAListic was recently selected for Aurora Dance Festival and presented June 14 at the Capital One Hall at Tysons VA. HumANIMAListic delves into the duality of human nature.
