On Saturday, December 5, a group of local nonprofits will host the Adoption and Foster Care Expo. With 415,000 children in foster care in the United States, and thousands more awaiting adoption internationally, there is a constant need for homes for children without one. There is also a strong desire on the part of prospective families for information about adoption and foster care as well as face-time with professionals and families who can explain the process.
