A Live Conversation with NPR's From the Top

by admin last modified Apr 25, 2020 01:59 PM
Join us Saturday, April 25th at 11am on the Center for the Arts Facebook page for A Live Conversation with NPR’s From the Top. The virtual event is part of the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ Mason Arts At Home initiative. In late February, the Center for the Arts audience members experienced a live taping of an episode of NPR’s From the Top. A popular weekly show that airs nationally, From the Top celebrates young musicians from around the country by showcasing their diverse musical talents. To celebrate the official release of this episode, acclaimed piano duo Anderson & Roe, plus some of the young musicians featured in this special broadcast will join Libby Curtis, Director of Mason Community Arts Academy, in this livestreamed conversation that will cover careers in music, advice for young performers, the experience of taping a podcast live, and more!
