Diamonds in the Rough is the DC area's training and networking event for families of students with special learning needs in pre-K–12, and the educators and professionals who work with them. Saturday, March 10 is the full-day conference at the Johns Hopkins Univeirsty, Montgomery County Camous in Rockville, Md. Join experts, families and advocates for new strategies on parenting, executive functioning skills, special education, ADHD, dyslexia, ASD, anxiety, and more.

Diamonds in the Rough is the annual conference in the Metro Washington D.C. and Baltimore area for families of students with special learning needs in pre-K–12, and the educators and professionals who work with them. It is presented by the Weinfeld Education Group, and supported by a group of outstanding sponsors.

This annual event convenes national and regional speakers, who are leaders in their fields, to present information that parents, educators, advocates, and professional service providers need to help students with a variety of learning challenges reach their potential. In addition, Diamonds in the Rough brings together dozens of leading providers of educational services and products, private schools, doctors, and therapists to engage their potential clients—parents and care givers who use their services at home, school, and in the community.

Friday, March 9 - CE Workshop on Executive Functioning Skills

In-depth workshop on improving executive functioning skills with children and teens. Professionals can gain 3 CEUs from the Maryland Psychological Association. Training includes hot breakfast and networking with sponsors.

Saturday, March 10 - Full-Day Conference

Parents, professionals, and advocates can come together and experience the full-day of training and networking. Keynote speaker is Dr, Joyce Cooper-Kahn, author of the book "Late, Lost and Unprepared: A Parents Guide to Helping Children with Executive Functioning" Registation includes continental breakfast, lunch and exhibit hall.

Register by January 31 for early bird rates.
