2017 Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival – 26th Annual

One of the D.C. region’s most anticipated events of the year, the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival attracts 30,000 attendees to view and purchase original art from more than 200 selected artists from across the U.S. and beyond. Presented by the Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE), this show and sale offers sixteen categories of original paintings, mixed-media, photography, sculpture, jewelry, and fine craft in 200+ outdoor mini-galleries in 11 blocks of booths at the accessible venue of Reston Town Center. In the Pavilion, GRACE offers a Family Art Park with free art-making activities during the entire event, and in the parks, innovative dance performances are scheduled over the two days. Art Fair Insiders rates the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival as one of the top 20 outdoor art festivals in North America, and it’s voted as ‘Best Art Festival’ by readers of Virginia Living Magazine.

For admission, a $5 per adult donation is requested to support GRACE, a leading non-profit arts organization, and to receive the festival program that includes dining certificates for on-site restaurants. Another way to connect with the festival experience is through the Adopt-an-Artist campaign in support of GRACE’s efforts. The mission of GRACE, a 501c3 organization, is to enrich community life by promoting involvement and excellence in contemporary visual arts. In addition to its renowned event, the annual Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, GRACE provides a year round schedule of diverse educational programs, an unparalleled quality of exhibitions of contemporary art at its free gallery, plus the GRACE Art program that offers another level of education at more than 40 schools in the D.C. region.
