Decorated for Halloween just for this hunt - come celebrate the BOO season on this zany treasure hunt. Have fun searching for Autumn & Halloween themed items found only at The Mansion. We have over 100 rooms and 70 secret doors (yes 70!). We guarantee you can see at least 60 of our legendary rooms — but be warned secret doors are tricky to find — if you find 2 or 3 you are an above average sleuth. Prizes additional. Includes self-guided tour through our themed rooms and secret doors. Cash Bar Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Bring a shopping bag. Everything is for sale.

Get ready to fall into fun this Halloween with the DowntownDC Business Improvement District and the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center for the DowntownDC Fall Festival. Bring your coworkers, friends, family and kids to Woodrow Wilson Plaza (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue) on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 12pm-2pm for some free fun, including a special Halloween DJ set, pumpkin decorating with BLICK art, a mysterious Children’s Story Hour with DC Public Library, lively face painting, candy giveaways, and the return of the ghoulish DowntownDC stilt walkers. Wear your Halloween costumes! Photo ops will be available.

Everyday Magic with the Amazing Max (OFC) All of the staff at The Alden were in awe of The Amazing Max’s performance in February and couldn’t stop thinking, “How did he do that?” So they decided to bring him back and get to the bottom of it. Join Max for a magic master class to learn some tricks you can do to “wow” your friends and family with a few simple items. Registration is required for all participants. 1 lesson @1.5 hrs, $45/$35 MCC district residents. Price includes admission, magic supplies and VIP meet and greet. Space is limited.
