Burkittsville is an historic, virtually unchanged example of an American village of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The educational walking tour highlights three centuries of historic architecture as well as lovely private gardens. Guides will provide information on the history of the village and individual historic buildings while home owners will answer questions and tour their gardens with guests. The event is open to all ages.

When informed that her now fiance Kevin Johnson had been accused of inappropriate sexual conduct, Rhee promised to make it "her number one priority" and to "take care of the situation". She then met with a federal inspector general, calling Johnson "a good guy".
