Family Reading EdVenutre is an opportunity for students in grades k-2 and their parents to have fun together with reading. This free event features a variety of activities and games to encourage everyday reading and learning. Together you and your child will make memories through the joy of reading. Participate in a series of interactive stations that will have you creating a comic strip, enjoying theater readings, making a cootie catcher for story talk- and so much more. Ideas such as story elements, sequencing, following directions and visualization will be explored. No special knowledge or previous experience is necessary. Test your reading skills-you’ll leave with a goody bag and a smile!
