Well, I’m a live-in nanny, and I frequent the AP forum. However, I’m also OP and I was defending the program in the link. Some nannies understand the benefits of the program.

I do wonder if it's a nanny agency. One time I was working with ABC nanny and when I told them I was going to go with an au pair, the claws came out!

I don’t think it’s a lot of people, I think it’s that one crazy person who ruins all the threads here. I tried to read the one you linked but she has truly lost it. I do feel sorry for her and hope she gets help. This isn’t a healthy or productive way to live.

And It seems like the same bitter nanny is there too, using exactly the same wording lol

There's a whole bunch of people who know nothing about APs, HPs or the program lighting into the OP and decrying the program. I'd suggest looking at the thread.
