I have an 8 and 10 year old. I would never dream of asking our AP to make their beds. That is ridiculous. Your kids are spoiled. Our AP has to change their sheets out once per week, and usually it's done on laundry day (which is also once per week). Our kids are responsible for making their beds each morning and keeping their rooms tidy.
I’m with you 100%
My 6 year old and 9 year old get picked up by school bus at 7:10am. It is already hard for them to get up and get ready that early in the morning. So yes, AP makes the beds. I don't feel there is anything wrong with it.
Making the bed takes 60 seconds. A six-year-old with functional arms can easily do it. Stop raising lazy kids.
first of all, how I raise my kids is none of your business. second, my kids put away their toys, do the dishes and take care of their messes most of the time. But if there is a rush or something more important comes up, AP does it. That's the reason why I have an AP. 60 seconds of sleeping time in the early morning for the kids IS more important than having them make the bed. Why would I want to make the morning craziness even crazier??? third, this post was about AP complains about a job that she agreed to before matching. She should do it no matter what. If she changed her mind and doesn't want to do it, then REMATCH.
