Damn, you ladies are harsh. OP loves and spends time with her mother. I personally think that is a great thing. Seeing 2 women interact in a positive way is something from which a baby or child can learn.
Ridiculous post. You do not bring your mother to work with you every day for three months in any job.
I don’t think we are doctors , lawyers or we are not in respected profession that we have to follow rules strictly. I see families who don’t think there is difference between nanny or housekeeper. I would be against op if we would be in respectful profession. I don’t think op is wrong it’s like get two for one kind of deal. Pay for one and get two.
Absolutely pathetic and ridiculous post. I would not want some employees mother in my home distracting my nanny and am not the least bit interested in any two-for-one deal!!! Boyfriends, sisters, parents, or friends do not get to hang out with you for eight hours a day while you are supposed to be working! Aside from the obvious distraction, I do not want the liability if your mother gets hurt or damages my home while “working” for free nor do I want my baby handled by some woman I have not run a background check or seen proof of vaccinations. This has to be the most absurd thread ever posted by a nanny!!
