[/quote] Yes, sometimes things are that tight. I'm in an expensive full time school program and live paycheck to paycheck and depending on my bills, my paycheck is mostly gone by Monday or Tuesday. So if I have to buy a lot of stuff (or even just a half gallon of organic milk) and have to use my own money those weeks, I have no money left over until I'm paid again. My paycheck is a fraction of what nanny employers make and I can't always afford to use my money on them or their kids. I usually still do it but then might not have money for the bus or metro.
