Pp here: we always do our outside time before 12:30 though. I don't think it's healthy or wisedor anyone to be out during the hottest / strongest sun hours of the day. If she is there 1-4 I wouldn't take the child out either.
+1. When I was a nanny, I took the kids out from about 9am-12:30, depending on the day. We would frequently head to a park with a packed lunch when they were toddlers. We played in the shaded playground area, found somewhere to play with our bats/balls/buckets, then had lunch in the shade. The only time we were in direct sunlight for a prolonged period was if we were on the soccer field or basketball court, and never for 30 minutes at a time when it was 90+ degrees out. Then we would head home for naps. If we had outdoor time after naps, it was in the shaded yard at the house. Ugh. I can't imagine any nanny wanting to go sit in the afternoon 90-100 degree sun, with all of the humid glory we get around here. Seriously, there is nowhere she can take your child that is shaded?
