[quote=Anonymous]OP you are being very unreasonable and actually ridiculous. This should not even be an issue. You stated that your nanny comes twice a week for about 3 hours or so (in the afternoon, at the hottest time of the day), and then you added you child takes a nap around 2/2:30 pm to 4 pm, and that there are practically no shaded area in the neighborhood for them to go, so why can't you do it after your child's nap? Or just ask the nanny to stay an hour extra, so by the time the kid wakes up, it is 4pm and she can take him out for a few minutes. You also added that she was doing it before summer, so it is not that she is unwilling to take him out, but she is bothered by the sun, and frankly I am bothered by the sun too, not only for me, but for my charge, I always worry that he will get sunburn or it is too hot when we go out during the hottest time of the day. Your nanny is doing her job by keeping your child safe and taking good care of him, so him not going out 2 days out of 7 (that is if YOU are taking him out the other 5 days of the week) won't hurt him at all. She is only there for 3 hours out of his 10 or so waking hours, you can take him out after you work, 20 minutes outside when the sun is going down, which would be a good way for you to relax too.
