It's totally understandable that you would want to know but I think it was just bad timing. I don't think your MB handled it the best way possible. As an MB I wouldn't have been upset by the question but then again not everyone handles stress well and she has some major stress going on. I would definitely not take her reaction to me she isn't going to pay you and I don't think I'd bring it up again immediately given her reaction the first time but maybe mention it to DB or wait until it is closer to your next paycheck.

You obviously deserve to be paid for that time you worked sooner rather than later and I can understand why you'd be curious about it but it was a little insensitive to ask her when you did. [/quote]
