While I don't agree with spraying water at the dog, I can certainly understand your frustration. Who wants to dodge dog pee and feces every day?? I'm confused though. Why doesn't the dog go outside? I think you need to talk to your em
MB told me that the dog simply doesn't like to go out and, since she's a small chihuahua, she can easily "fit" her business on the spacious wee wee pad. Also, I already know that MB and DB don't see this as an issue, despite the frequency with which it occurs throughout the week (at least once or twice a day) when I'm here), or over the weekend (I'm not sure how often she goes then, but I know she managed to get into their bedroom and drop a few on their carpet this weekend). At any rate, I get the impression that MB and DB would find it "petty" if I bring it up, and it would cause some awkwardness in our otherwise great relationship since they've had their separate dogs for YEARS and their baby for only a few months. It's clear that the dogs hold great weight in their lives... especially from what MB told me along the lines of: "It's okay if X (the cihuahua) bites Y(the child) because she has no front teeth and it won't hurt Y [although I'm sure it will and it will definitely scare the baby]. But be careful with Y around X because if Y grab's X's legs to hard and yanks them, it will break." Like I said, the dogs are fairly important to my employers and, while I see this as a major issue, both personal and sanitary, they see it as a petty, day to day issue that affects them in no wise. So why would they take my feelings into consideration regarding this "trivial," as they would put it, matter?
LOL. How cute. I don't know your employers, but seeing as they treat their dogs like royalty. I love it! Speaking of Chihuahuas, we took the dogs to the park yesterday, DB and I and of course the little guy came with us. There was a tiny Chihuahuas, could probably step on it, if you don't watch yourself, he was not fond of the little guy...kept barking at him. The Chihuahua was so freaking cute. The little guy thought it was funny. We all had a great day at the dog park@
