I've known faaarr to many people who can't control their mutt and have ruined their carpets, furniture, etc. People will avoid going to your house if your dog constantly runs over and pisses all over them. Oh and the barking? Shut the fuck UP. Dogs are disgusting. I HATE THEM. Does that make me a bad person? Nope. It just doesn't make me a dog person. I would fucking abuse one, it's a living thing. Hating dogs doesn't make me hate children, so kudos for the PP making that generalization. That was a good one!! Which psych class did you pick that up in anyway?
Why so defensive? Are you one of those nannies that have body image issues and can't hear the word fat without assuming it's about you? Haha.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:. haha I mean seriously? Where are you getting this "fatass" shit from? What makes you assume that the OP is even "fat"? You are coming off extremely immature and to be honest, trashy. Stop trolling and get a life.

I think you need to talk to your em
MB told me that the dog simply doesn't like to go out and, since she's a small chihuahua, she can easily "fit" her business on the spacious wee wee pad.
Also, I already know that MB and DB don't see this as an issue, despite the frequency with which it occurs throughout the week (at least once or twice a day) when I'm here), or over the weekend (I'm not sure how often she goes then, but I know she managed to get into their bedroom and drop a few on their carpet this weekend). At any rate, I get the impression that MB and DB would find it "petty" if I bring it up, and it would cause some awkwardness in our otherwise great relationship since they've had their separate dogs for YEARS and their baby for only a few months. It's clear that the dogs hold great weight in their lives... especially from what MB told me along the lines of: "It's okay if X (the cihuahua) bites Y(the child) because she has no front teeth and it won't hurt Y [although I'm sure it will and it will definitely scare the baby]. But be careful with Y around X because if Y grab's X's legs to hard and yanks them, it will break."
Like I said, the dogs are fairly important to my employers and, while I see this as a major issue, both personal and sanitary, they see it as a petty, day to day issue that affects them in no wise. So why would they take my feelings into consideration regarding this "trivial," as they would put it, matter?
LOL. How cute. I don't know your employers, but seeing as they treat their dogs like royalty. I love it!Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:While I don't agree with spraying water at the dog, I can certainly understand your frustration. Who wants to dodge dog pee and feces every day?? Anonymous wrote:Right, OP.
And the parent who loves their child but is frustrated and hates when their 3-year-old has a bathroom accident and responds every time by making them stand in their own waste/putting their face in it/spanking them/any number of other unacceptable behaviors is okay too.
Have you even attempted to talk to your employers? Not by your own account. You're just taking a sadistic pleasure in tormenting the little creature for behaving like a dog. Which is what it is. SHOCKING.
Anonymous wrote:People, calm down. So much vitriol, even for DCUM, that I have to believe it is some kind of troll convention. If not, OP, talk to your family. If you hate dogs or even if you don't, of course you can still be a good person, but it is fair to question whether you need to better manage your temper if you torture the ridiculous little thing because you are mad at it. Got that? Hate dogs, fine. Torture dogs, not fine. What surprises me (and let's me know there are no sane people posting here) is that no one seems to have picked up on the 9 year old dog suddenly acting different and going in places it knows it should not. That says something is up with the dog, and it probably needs a vet. Maybe it is ill and trying to say so. It is pretty old, and a dramatic change in habits is a sure sign that things are not okay.
AND, equally important, OP you are entitled to a safe and sanitary work environment (maybe not technically under the law, but you know what I mean), and you shouldn't have to cart a baby around navigating pee puddles. So tell your MB or DB. Be polite, but firm that you don't feel comfortable, and while you understand that Fido might be sick or old, they need to make other arrangements during the day so that you can work without dealing with him. Suggest a dog walker, or doggy daycare, or leaving him outside in a fenced yard, or in the basement, whatever. But for goodness sake, stop spraying the dog with water. That just makes you look ill-tempered and petty, which is not a good look for someone who makes their living caring for children.
