I think you would find someone for the afternoon slot, so why not do before care and find someone for the afternoon.
I don't know, I don't think this really solves it. Money-wise, before-care only is almost as expensive as just doing both before/after-care. And I'd still have to get the kids up and out in the morning, which is honestly the biggest issue without in-home care. And then I'd have to manage both the before/after-care program AND a nanny. Sorry for not clarifying - I'm looking for a 100% perfect solution ;)
Everyone wants 100% perfect solution. You CAN have it, but everything comes with a price.
Not OP but if I can't afford it, not perfect
And MBs complain of nannies' entitlement...
OP here. No one is claiming they're entitled to perfect care for dirt cheap. Did you see my little winking face after my "I want something perfect" quote? Obviously, if I paid someone $50/hour, I could probably get them to work whenever I wanted. But surely you can see how that would make the situation not "perfect." I'm not whining about it or acting like anyone owes it to me - I am plain and simple asking if anyone has found what I'm looking for. If not (and it sounds like not), we'll stick with before/after care. No big deal.
