However, I did ask how they wanted me to handle the inevitable questions, and 2 out of 3 trusted me to answer the questions without talking to them first. The other set of parents and I sat down to talk through possible questions that might arise, which ones to direct to the parents, which to answer truthfully, and which to redirect to other topics. I got the feeling that they wanted kids to exposed to at least one trusted person outside of the very insular community in which they worshiped and went school, and I know all three families struggled with family pressing them to be more conservative.[/quote]
